Purpose:

Provides support in case of (bi)lateral instability in the PIP and/or DIP joint and correction for mild, easily reducible deviation of the PIP joint.

Code 5060 is an addition to the Swanneck splint on the photo. But it can be added to most splints, including a swanneck.
